Carly Snoswell - Amy
Carly Snoswell - Amy
Wall piece with sequins, cotton, and fringing.
This artwork, Amy, was created for Studio Snazzy at the Art Gallery of South Australia in 2021. The exhibition was a response to Clarice Beckett's exhibition and a celebration of colour, light and shape. These artworks were named after the leading ladies of the popular culture I was engaging with at the time of making, spending hours stitching sequins with my favourite fandoms.
