who are we

FELTspace is an artist-run initiative supporting, developing and presenting emerging, experimental, and diverse exhibitions and public programs. Our gallery is located at 12 Compton Street, Adelaide.

Established in 2008 with an exhibition space at the heart of Adelaide's Central Market district, FELTspace has quickly become a centre for the emerging contemporary visual arts community. Remaining an important site for the development, exhibition and discussion of new work by emerging and recognised visual artists in South Australia. FELTspace has a focus on promoting emerging and early career artists, with opportunities for more established artists to show in a non-commercial and non-institutional space.

FELTspace respectfully acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation, and the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains as the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work in Tarntanyangga, Adelaide.

wine Sponsor

meet our new wine sponsor — JAUMA

We are excited to serve you some of the delicious red and white wines by Jauma at our next opening.

Jauma Farm is a 40 acre organic farm with cherry and apple orchards, vineyards, bushland and winery located in Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills, and home to Jauma Wines created by James and Sophie Erskine. All Jauma Wines are natural wines — made from organic fruit, with zero additions of anything but grapes. Juicy, rich, textural, alive, and vibrant, these wines are grown and farmed in McLaren Vale on Kaurna Land. They speak directly from the soil and are lovingly handcrafted by James, Sophie and the Jauma team at Jauma Farm in the Adelaide Hills on Peramangk Land.

Jauma Farm hosts Jaumafest, an annual Cherry Harvest, music and wine festival each December, as well as seasonal wellness retreats, wine events and will see its first farm shop and wine tasting room open in 2024.
