COME FLY WITH ME - Grant Parke (SA) February 2021

I’m a multidisciplinary artist concerned with beauty in the banal, human connection, loneliness, absurdism and death. You know, all the little stuff. The work in this show is the animation ‘Come Fly with Me’. It falls under a larger animation project called ‘A day in the life’ and is exactly as it sounds, animations of my encounters with people and myself as I move through my days on this planet. At its core ‘Come Fly With Me’ is about two lonely people sharing stories and creating them in the process. I hope you enjoy it.
