Artist Bio

Isabel Margot works with and between modalities of sound, performance, text, installation and digital forms. Adopting a fluid, hybrid and time-based practice that aims to evade definitive confines, she conceptualises bodies as carriers, languages, postures, one-sided dialogues, facades and architectures. Such notions are fleshed out in opaque and illegible articulations, to elude singular readings and clear trajectories of meaning.
