Artist Biography

Obi Herron is a filmmaker and video artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, living and working on unceded Wurundjeri land. His work has screened at ACMI, SIGNAL (as part of the 2023 Screen Commissions), TwoSixty, Climarte Gallery, and more. He has completed artist residencies at both Richmond Library MakerSpace and ACMI X. Recently, Obi worked as Assistant Camera on the live feature film ‘Echo, No Resonance’, and is currently Assistant Editor of a feature-length documentary.
