A blind is closed,
Brushed from behind.
Something about the small space is most unsettled here...

Otherwise, the room whirrs with the company of moving things.
The blink of a changing image,
The permeating blue glow of Electronic Device.
In the corner, a warm light tries to fight it.
It shifts the colour slightly.
A brave effort.

But that brush on the blind…
That stroke, that slinky touch too soft to rattle much, but enough to sway…
It’s not an break-in, but it’s a threat.
A little one.
An insidious reminder that blinds are thin,
That the metal strips can come apart easy,
Can be peeked in…
